Honestly, but there was a while when I thought Amazon Prime might not have been worth it, that was well before they added the streaming service, and it was also because I was only comparing the Canadian version to the American version, if I were to be looking at it as an individual thing, I still would have said it was worthwhile.
So, when people ask: how much is amazon prime canada? Isn’t that too much?, honestly, whenever I hear someone say that it is, I just start to think that it isn’t, because if you compare it to America’s Amazon Prime, it doesn’t really stack up very well. Basically, because there are less people in Canada, Amazon is invested less up here. Which makes sense, I mean there is a lot higher population density in the United States, and it makes a lot more sense for Amazon to develop more infrastructure to serve that. However, when I really start to think about it, I don’t think that it’s a big deal, and I do think Amazon Prime might be worth it still, because I do think that Amazon is going to continue to develop it Canadian infrastructure, it’s always just been a little bit behind. Like, for a long time, people said that Amazon Prime Canada was not worth it because of the fact that they did not have the online streaming service. Before too long, Amazon Prime Canada did add streaming service. Now, people are saying that the shipping speed in the states makes it worthwhile, and the lack of that in Canada makes it less worthwhile. That’s valid argument, to an extent, but the fact is that Emma’s on Prime Canada still provides a faster delivery than many other services, and it is free of charge. And, if you’re willing to pay even $4, you can often get same-day delivery, or next day delivery, which, if you’re not totally spoiled by the new generation of technology and efficiency, is pretty dang impressive.
